Social Sharing, Virality and Exponential Growth

Each year the team here at Technetium looks forward to strategizing, creating and implementing the DWC Model Search,a national model competition for DanceWear Corner, a dancewear retail store located in Orlando.

The primary purpose of this contest is to find qualified models for DWC’s promotional materials, while increasing brand awareness, growing DanceWear Corner’s social reach and engagement, and building brand loyalty.

Day #1 at AspDotNetStorefront eCommerce Workshop

After traveling from Orlando to Denver this morning I wasn’t sure what the day would bring. I just wanted to arrive safely and hit the first sessions of the day. Game on. We arrived, it was nice to get checked in and meet some people.

So after the sessions began at this interactive workshop I realized the benefits to being here, interacting with Vortx, the developer, and many AspDotNetStorefront site owners. The conversations have been outstanding while discussing the importance product photography, big data, UPC codes and size/color strategies. Tons of knowledge being dropped here today.

2013 International CES In One Word: Innovation

Largest show in history with 37 football fields of exhibit space

Las Vegas, NV – 01/11/2013 – The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)® announced today that the 2013 International CES® is the largest in the show’s 45+ year history, with 1.92 million net square feet of exhibit space. The previous record was 1.86 million net square feet of space at the 2012 International CES. More than 3,250 exhibitors unveiled some 20,000 new products at the 2013 CES, drawing more than 150,000 attendees, including more than 35,000 from more than 170 countries outside the United States. Owned and produced by CEA, the 2013 International CES is the world’s largest annual innovation event and concluded today.

New Year’s Reflection: Bring on 2013

As 2012 draws to a close I look back on that past nine years and what they have meant to Technetium, our clients, and our families. Each year we take on new challenges, none as difficult as the recessionary years from 2009 to 2012. The economic impact hit everyone, everything seemed negative, doom and gloom, catastrophic, you name it we heard it. Marketing was the first thing cut by many, although it shouldn’t be, and so we saw first hand how the economy trickles down (or rapidly flows).

Enough is enough. Bring on 2013!!!
